THE VARIED WAYS OF THE COMPLIMENT

It's always good to be told "Good job!" and I received such for the new issue of Galatea Resurrects (GR).  Here's two of my favorite responses:

One of GR's reviewers emailed:
"You are a champion editor. Never seen correspondence so quick. The major journals here in _____ take three months to scratch their armpits ."
Wonderful diction, sir.  I replied:

And then and then and then: Moi got a poem!  In response to my review of two of her books including one entitled MEMOS, Susan Terris wrote:

Memo to Eileen

in the bleak midwinter    Christina penned    and I
read    on a day Eileen wrote about my book

zing or sing    and then the air warmed    singe or
whinge    songs or wrongs    some to put right

others left    yet this day    when misty wind made

moan     she lit the lamp    stilled the din

Isn't that nifty?!

And do check out the new issue! It's got wonderful reviews -- including an inaugural feature of an author reviewing his own books! Whitman did it, so why not Galatea or, in this issue, Allen Bramhall?!  Contact Moi if you want to review yours for next issue!

Btw, here's this special issue's back cover:
